What is Antiwear Hydraulic Oil?

Hydraulic antiwear oil is a mineral-based lubricant with additives to extend the lifespan of the oil and provide thermal stability. Antiwear hydraulic oil is made from refined crude oil. Antiwear is abbreviated as AW and comes in three brands AW32, AW46, and AW68 ISO standard.
