ITR GEAR HP5 are extreme pressure gear oils, specially formulated to meet extreme pressure (EP) chemical technology meeting the rigorous service demand of commercial fleet mechanical transmissions, axles and gear boxes. It is designed to minimize scuffing and scoring of gear surfaces under high speed, extremely high torque and shock load operation. Recommended for conventional (manual) transmissions, differentials, final drives and other gear cases of trucks, buses, cars, farm tractors and earth moving equipment where extreme pressure, hypoid or multi- purpose gear oils of API GL-5 performance level are required.
